Low carry jeeps are unique in the jeep section. These units are made to have the central pivot very low to haul beams or large tanks. The pivoting axis of the loading bunk is always at 90 degrees to the load. This avoids an unstable condition when cornering aggressively.
The mid-section comes with a turntable with a power tower inside it. This tower is used to lift the load above obstacles or to avoid a collision between the jeep’s frame and the beam in rough terrain. The on-board power pack supplies the hydraulic pressure necessary to lift the power tower.
